c.poulton Posted March 31, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 31, 2013 Very nice, you have caught the light well! I like the portrait orientation as well, most people would have gone for landscape, but this works as well Thanks for sharing
pauledell Posted March 31, 2013 Share #3 Posted March 31, 2013 Wonderful lighting and colors. The sunlight is rimming the boys' heads. Paul
SJP Posted March 31, 2013 Share #4 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) the horizon is (very, very) slightly off, which I think reduces the image to a minor extent. A very slight CCW rotation would help but then you might lose the composition as a whole (rotate = crop, after all). But having said, this is a fine photograph, beautiful light, great toning and I really like that you kept the color "as it was", that is a frequent pitfall - 'white balance' should be made illegal. EDIT: second view, this is a straight as it gets, curious it looks slightly off Edited March 31, 2013 by SJP

" 'white balance' should be made illegal" ? Now, that's witty! Anyway, thanks, Stephen. Paul
