johnpierce Posted November 14, 2014 Share #63 Posted November 14, 2014 While I don't own a Leica M camera (yet), I use an Expert Shield screen protector on my Digilux 2 (& my Fuji X100S). They have a lifetime warranty and (in the UK at least) their customer support is excellent.
viramati Posted November 14, 2014 Share #64 Posted November 14, 2014 Have had my M for around 20 months and after pretty heavy use the screen still doesn't have a scratch on it.

bocaburger Posted November 14, 2014 Share #66 Posted November 14, 2014 If the screen glass was a DIY swap like it is with some others, or if Leica charged $100 to replace it and turned it around in a week tops, or if buyers of used Leica gear weren't anal to the hilt and every blemish subtracts a few hundred from resale, then I too wouldn't bother with a protector. I stopped using them on any other of my cameras or my phone.
davidmknoble Posted November 14, 2014 Share #67 Posted November 14, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) All I did was measure the 3" and look on B&H Photos web site. I used the Giottos SP 83022 and it works fine... Hope that helps...
