Finally got my LEIMAR adapter

All good things come to he who waits. For some years I have been looking for a LEIMAR adapter. This is to mount an Elmar 65 head in a recessed position in a Novoflex Bellows. I already had the much more common LEIEL adapter, which surface mounts the Elmar 65 but this means that it will only focus out to about 3 feet. With the LEIMAR, you get focus out to about 15 feet, with its top hat shape. I asked Novoflex if they could make me one, as it was now out of production and the answer was yes - it would be around €250 - 300!

Today I found one on Fleabay and put in a $50 offer which was accepted. I will get it sent via my daughter as the US seller posts free inside the US and my daughter can send on for a few dollars, rather than the $20 the seller wanted to send overseas.

Now all I need is to find a 14138 Televit to Telyt 280 adapter and my week will be complete ;)

A nice finding Wilson !!! Maybe even rarer than the 14138.... (but seems to me to have seen one on ebay in these days... problem is that it included a V3 lenshead...;))

Luigi,

I hate the eBay search engine. I have three different searches running for a 14138, two different ones from my UK account (Leica and Leitz) plus one from my US account and still it misses items. In any case I am not short of 280 Telyt's with a V2 and a V3.
