I know it will sound like commercial! I think Jean Bardaji deserve praise for his outstanding service towards his loyal customers. After attending the Leica Academy in Montreal (October the 20th, 2012) I really liked the new Leica M Monochrom and placed an order. We are two months later and still no MM..... My dealer phoned me to say he had tried the impossible to get me one and he new I was counting on it for my up-coming trip!

Jean Bardaji the owner of Camtec photo made me a great offer knowing how disappointed I felt, he is offering me free of charge a used black M9-P to take along for my trip. I have nothing but praise for this dealer and I have done business with him for many years..... :)

Agree 100% regarding Jean's customer service. He does the best he can, unfortunately, Leica has some funky distribution issues that need to be sorted. I mean MM's are just sitting on the shelf in the UK, whilst Jean has 10 customers waiting for their MM's. Come on Leica, get with the program already. Why the back-log? It's not as if they are selling M-E's left right and centre and need to keep that production line running. So camera wise, exactly what are they manufacturing right now?

It is nice to save taxes sometimes but in the long term it will be worst to loose a great and generous dealer.

When i started using Leica, many times, i had good advices from Jean. He is knowledgeable and passionate about Leica!

I can personally attest to the accuracy of everything said here about Jean Bardaji at Camtec in Montreal.

He sold me my M7 and M8 and he may well be selling me my new M soon.

He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and a pleasure to talk about cameras and photography with.

I am so lucky, imagine a camera nut whose wife actually encourages him to drive to Montreal to see Jean quite regularly.
