Digital cameras not collectable?

certain digital Leicas WILL for sure be collectable.....already some of the most expensive Leicas are digital (Titanium, Hermes, etc.) and i'm sure there will be others. Leica special editions have always been for "show".....from the early days til now!

the white M8.2 is strange though.....looks like it belongs in a purse of a woman in a big black fur coat getting out of the backseat of a Maybach.

And of course if its a 'collectors item' as surely the white M8 was designed to be, it doesn't matter a toss whether it works or not since it will spend its time in a show case unsullied by human hands, perhaps such as this will be the ONLY digital cameras which hold any value long term.
