Olav1966 Posted October 10, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I drive about 30 minutes by car from my house to this photo. The 3 big pipes are part of a hydroelectric power plant on the river Elbe. In an over-capacity of electric energy, water is pumped from the river Elbe into a storage tank. Is a very high demand for electric energy, then the water from the reservoir is supplied to the turbines. The plant was commissioned in 1958. 13 years earlier, in 1945, the image to be seen in the steam locomotive was built. She drives on some weekends in with museum trains also pass the 3 tubes. SJP Posted October 13, 2012 Share #7 Posted October 13, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) M4-P, Super-Angulon 1:3.4 / 21mm, f8, 1/125, yellow filterIlford Pan 100 developed 18 minutes in ORWO A49, dilution 1:2 but yes was it a full moon or not? I love technical details but.... This is a great photo by the way, you need talent to see how a really excellent picture can be made from 'normal' stuff. You have succeeded, better than many of us will ever be able to I expect.
