With my 28mm and metal hood. Polish marks starting to come through now (on/off switch and eyepiece corner) 12k actuations

Maybe, but I still tape over with black electrician's tape the engraving on the top plate, which, in white, just stands out too much; so, I really prefer the M-Monochrom look.

Yes, I was wondering that. The blog (which, unsurprisingly, is depressingly good) appears to consist of a number of themed entries that look to me like lightly curated collections from McCurry's archive. In other words, I assume most of the photographs are from his film days.
