Just received my M9-P yesterday. Absolutely loving it so far. Definitely one of the most beautiful cameras I've ever held/used.

Hi everybody!

I was reading with interest all of your post...I'm studying about Leica, but need your experience for an important decisione I'd like to take...

I would like to buy a Leica (after many years with DLSR Canon) and which one I should take...M9-P or a M-E...?! Reading a lot of posts and Leica Catalouge I know that M9-P is not anymore in assortment, but I have more possibilities to buy a well used one's!...

Thanks in advance and sorry if this question is not so "Leica Expert", but I'm still studyng!!!

Have a nice day

Gino

Maybe, but I still tape over with black electrician's tape the engraving on the top plate, which, in white, just stands out too much; so, I really prefer the M-Monochrom look.
