Rona!d Posted April 22, 2014 Share #784 Posted April 22, 2014 Nein, aber "Ovalis" konnten später auf das größere Heckfenster umgebaut werden.Abfolge: 1946 Brezelkäfer, 1953 ungeteiltes ovales Rückfenster, 1957 rechteckiges, größeres Heckfenster, 1963 wieder ein größeres Heckfenster. Sondermodelle und Cabrios mal aussen vor gelassen: 1935/36 Porsche Typ 60/VW-3-Serie (kleine stehende Heckscheibe noch unter den Schlitzen der Motorhaube, von aussen kaum als Scheibe sichtbar) 1936 VW 30, 30 Vorserienwagen bei Daimler-Benz gebaut 1938 VW 38 (Karosserie Reutter), Brezelfenster das bis März 1953 bleibt (Bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob auch das nicht unterschiedliche Größen Vorkrieg-/Nachkrieg hatte) 1953 Ovalfenster 1957 kleineres Rechteckfenster 1963 unverändert wie seit 1957 1964 Im Herbst kommt nach den Werksferien das 1965er-Modell raus, alle Scheiben rundum größer (+ ca. 15% mehr Fensterfläche) 1971 Ab August 71 (Modell 72) beim 1302 die ganz große Heckscheibe - die gab´s beim Mexico-Käfer erst wieder ab 1986 beim Jubi-Käfer, blieb dann auch beim 1600i später. Meine kurze Auflistung, nach Internetquellen zitiert, sollte nur erläutern, dass durch nachträgliche Vergrößerung ehemalige Ovalis ein größeres Heckfenster erhalten konnten, also ältere Käfer der Baujahre '53 bis '57 dort schon modernisiert aussehen können. Ab 1963 sind für das Exportmodell Neuerungen wie das Stahlschiebedach notiert, weshalb gröbere Einteilungen dort auch weitere Änderungen gleich mit aufführen. Das PS-schwächere Sparmodell 1200A blieb danach sogar bis 1965 im Programm. Abgesehen davon dürften weitere zeitliche Verschiebungen entstehen, weil ein Ende der Produktion einer Modellvariante noch lange nicht das Ende des Abverkaufs als Neuwagen bedeutete. Was bedeuten heute - 60 Jahre später - da noch ein paar Monate Unterschiede? Man ist froh, überhaupt noch so alte Käfer zu sehen zu bekommen. Letzten Samstag fand ich unerwartet einen alten Post-Ovali in einem Museum, Fotos folgen evt. nach Entwicklung und Bearbeitung. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
