M9reno Posted July 14, 2012 Share #22 Â Posted July 14, 2012 an EVF interface under the hot shoe. Â That's more likely to be the mouthpiece for the integrated mobile phone. The earpiece should be the grey thing to the right. "M" will stand for "Mobifone".

rosuna Posted July 14, 2012 Share #24 Â Posted July 14, 2012 I seriously doubt Leica will do a camera larger than the M9 in any dimension.

BKK dan Posted July 15, 2012 Share #26  Posted July 15, 2012 Surprised to not yet see a thread about it in here:  Is this the Leica M10? | Leica News & Rumors  There gonna be many secondhand M9(-P)s on the market soon, is it the fear of buying something new again?  A 3-year innovation cycle is long for other camera makers, but painfully fast for Leica.  Remember, we're in it for good photography, not new cameras. jaques Posted July 15, 2012 Share #27 Â Posted July 15, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) looks interesting... hard to say with such fuzzy images- could be a trick.... However my bet is that the m10 will be introduced this September and if that is the case no doubt the camera already exists- and is possibly being tested- so it is possible IMO... jankap Posted July 15, 2012 Share #30 Â Posted July 15, 2012 Let's hope, that these shots are not made by a M'?'! Unsharp, low quality. Jan
jaapv Posted July 15, 2012 Share #31 Â Posted July 15, 2012 Typical Leica viral marketing. In about a week's time they will make a "mistake" and some tantalizing glimpse of the M10 will be shown.

ramosa Posted July 15, 2012 Share #33 Â Posted July 15, 2012 if only leica could release this M10 AND an updated M9 ... i'd want the updated M9. it could be just like the original M9, but with an updated CCD censor, decent LCD, and a boost in processing/buffer speed. do that and ask one grand more than the M9. myshkine Posted July 15, 2012 Share #34 Â Posted July 15, 2012 I seriously doubt Leica will do a camera larger than the M9 in any dimension. Â I am the satisfied owner of an M6TTL. When I tried the M9, I was istinctively comparing it to my film M in term of dimensions. If Leica is able to come out with an M10 that is more similar to the film M, then maybe I'll switch to digital. I know photography is not a matter of dimensions but IMO the traditional design has been somewhat altered in the digital M's.
Jeff S Posted July 15, 2012 Share #35 Â Posted July 15, 2012 I felt the same way until using digital Ms for a while; now the film Ms seem too skinny. Â I wish for weather sealing, but an open port/slot below the hot shoe doesn't give me hope if this is a prototype. Â Jeff
