I saw this yesterday when ordering some Rodinal.

Couldn't believe it. They've converted a warehouse into a darkroom and scanning facility.

An amazing and bold move in the digital age and with this climate (financial, not rain. )

There must be a good resurgence in film. I take my hat off to them, if I wore one. :)

Just like old times. Well seems like old times but only 8-10 years ago.

Has digital reached a Zenith?

What's next, "Kodachrome 64 Classic" ?

I'd be tempted if I lived closer.

There's always the 'converted shed in the garden' route. Double lined and light sealed?

Will be posting a roll of 120 to them Monday morning to see how they compare with Peak Imaging. The last roll I had back from Peak (late April) had a disappointingly high number of dust specks and spotting them out in CS4 was a pain. Should have complained but was about to leave on a nine-week trip and time was short. Hopefully they will have cleaned the drying-cabinet air filter by now...

Considering Matt only started AG three years ago he has come a long way. He moved to bigger premises last November and now offering this service shows there must be a demand.

Here's Matt with his Devere 108. Size matters! You'll know when he is using it as the lights will dim and flicker around Birmingham.

I remember installing a similar Durst, we didn't have room high enough to get it to the top of the 'column'!

It was b&w, the condensers for 10x8 are impressive, and heavy

I am looking for a place for the Saltzman 8x10 enlarger. It requires a ceiling of 15 feet.

When I used to work as a b&w exhibition printer we had a beast of a 10x8 horizontal enlarger mounted on railway tracks projecting onto a metal wall with the paper held up with magnets. 15 feet x 7 feet prints, 20 minute exposures.

I got replaced by a teenager on a computer and a giant inkjet printer.

Very quick turn around (by return). They were returned in a Kenro negative sleeve. Great value.

Indeed. Posted my 'test' roll to them on Monday, had an email yesterday to tell me the negs had been dispatched and they arrived this morning. Excellent service and the negs are much more dust-free than the last toll from Peak Imaging. Will certainly be using them again - highly recommended.
