The problem with the M is that its register distance isn't short enough ... so thinner competitors will always have the upper hand in grabbing new users in the adapters game - and Leica is simply no match to their Japanese peers in terms of electronic gadgetry.

 

That is then this is now. This will be the only full frame mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. And the main lenses that anyone would want to put on it are from current and past SLRs. The adapters already exist.

The M9 is already that. No mirror in there.

So what? Are many people using the M9 with SLR lenses? Yeah view cameras and many others don't have mirrors either. But this thread is referencing a mirrorless M10 that has live view and an EVF option and I figured you and others here know that.

A live-view M with EVF will be mirror-less if Leica omit the one in the rangefinder... technically speaking.

Yes indeed and I am already happy with the announcement of the Voigtländer 21mm f/1.8 Ultron lens.
