Need help --- no M8 info on screen

FYI, I'm back out of the desert and in Marrakech. Quick slide processing shows I have some great images of life in the northern Moroccan area. Using the M7 I was amazed how well this camera was accepted by people compared to the big and noisy D2X I have often carried for this work, and how astoundingly sharp the pix (usually prefocused and at high f stop with 50mm Summilux Asph.) are. I love the M series!

 

Regarding the M8, I loaded the 1.092 firmware and the same problem exists. An email to New Jersey produced a reply to s\end it, my batteries and the charger in, which I will do.
