stunsworth Posted February 25, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 25, 2007 Very nice graphical image Andy. Did you consider converting to b&w?
abrewer Posted February 25, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 25, 2007 Wow! Very very nice Andy. Agree with Steve, it would make a terrific poster image in B&W. I love it. Thanks for sharing. Allan
stuny Posted February 25, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 25, 2007 Andy - Almost a monochrome, and effective for that along, but also the arc and the repeating pattern in the water are lovely.

JE Posted February 26, 2007 Share #7 Posted February 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nice shot. I prefer the B&W but I like the crop of the color version. The arc forming the rim of the cascade has a wonderful, changing texture to it.
MrEd Posted February 26, 2007 Share #8 Posted February 26, 2007 The B&W rendition is very pleasant to the eye. I like it. Thanks for sharing. Ed. .
Bateleur Posted February 26, 2007 Share #9 Posted February 26, 2007 My vote also goes to the B&W version of the colour - a lovely balanced image. Charles

fielden Posted February 27, 2007 Share #14 Posted February 27, 2007 Andy, You would have been welcome. Let me know next time your passing. Are you the same Andrew Barton on the RPS forum. I am Graemlin on there.
ECliffordSmith Posted February 27, 2007 Share #15 Posted February 27, 2007 Andy, Very nicely composed. Your chosen shutter speed has created a very nice calming effect. From the two I prefer the first although perhaps that is for the landscape orientation. Very nice indeed.
andybarton Posted February 27, 2007 Author Share #16 Posted February 27, 2007 Andy, You would have been welcome. Let me know next time your passing. Are you the same Andrew Barton on the RPS forum. I am Graemlin on there. Cheers! No sugar thanks No, I am not on the RPS forum, although I will submit for the LRPS this year. I will, I will, I will... There's an "Andrew Barton" on the IoM who's a pro and there's a big Canon user out on the Llyn peninsular, who is similarly blessed. On the BBC Digital Picture of Britain website a couple of years ago, this latter's pics were getting mixed up with mine. Or vice-versa. He definitely gets his stuff into AP on a regular basis. azzo Posted March 1, 2007 Share #17 Posted March 1, 2007 Andy, A beautiful and very well seen image. Lovely light, subtle colours, motion and framing. B&W or colour..the choice is yours. Very nice in both versions IMHO. Azzo.

rvincent Posted March 1, 2007 Share #19 Posted March 1, 2007 Andy, I am undecided whether or not I like the b&w or color versions. Both are very nice, indeed. Robert
