Bad weather is forecast for the weekend so I took what I could when I could! Â They are all taken in the east of Brussels near the 'Gare de Luxembourg' in the 'European Quarter'. Always try to tell yourself that bad weather just means different types of photographs. No I don't always believe it either, but bad weather can be dramatic. Â The 'B' is the logo for the Belgian railway system. Quite what it means though I am not sure due to the bi-lingual system. Â I prefered the rail image too which is encouraging. Â Part of the magic of Brussels for me is the contradiction in the buildings within remarkably small areas. I hear there is a term callled 'Brusselsisation' (sp) where a large amount of important 'Art Nouveau' builidings were demolished for ill considered alternatives but even so I have yet to experience such a delightful place as Brussels to walk and see such diversity in central residential districts.
