jaapv Posted February 22, 2007 Share #6 Posted February 22, 2007 Really good- I'm jealous of your "eye". That 35 asph summicron seems to marry especially well with the M8's sensor. I find the amazing DR of the M8 is very wll suited to rendering snowscenes.
cam2000 Posted February 22, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted February 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you for commenting these pictures....... I agree that the M8 has the best dynamic range of any digital camera on the market..... it was a deciding factor for me to buy this camera. You can see in the last picture that I posted how the contrast of lighting is very high but still in control.
stuny Posted February 22, 2007 Share #8 Posted February 22, 2007 Jacques - Most impressive, and you're getting terrific results almost right out of the box. I prefer 1 & 3 to 2. They have more interesting angles, colors and dynamic ranges. #2, though quite good, suffers by comparison to the other two.
cam2000 Posted February 22, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted February 22, 2007 Hi Stuart..... I appreciate you commenting on these compositions..... here is a last one! http://www.geocities.com/cam2000.geo/wide_5.htm

davidmires Posted February 22, 2007 Share #11 Posted February 22, 2007 Jacques- These are very beautiful. I especially love number three. You have an excellent camera and dramatic subject matter, but your eye seems to be the most important factor here. Cheers, David.
