Das TEE-Zeitalter hat noch etwas für's Auge geboten und diese Re 4/4 I sieht in der TEE-Farbgebung richtig "schmuck" aus.  :)

 

Wobei erstaunt, dass diese Lok mit einer max. Geschwindigkeit von 125 km/h vor TEE-Züge gespannt wurde.

Zu dieser Zeit liess das Streckennetz keine höheren Geschwindigkeiten zu  ;).

 

Die befahrenen Strecken gaben nicht mehr her bzw. waren nicht für höhere Geschwindigkeiten ausgelegt.

 

Zum Ende der TEE-Zeit war ich erst Schüler, hatte aber gelesen, dass die Spitzen-E-Lok der DB, die E03 bereits in der 1. Version mit 8.750 PS 200 km/h Höchstgeschwindigkeit fahren konnte.

In der Schweiz gibt es nicht nur kurvige Gebirgsstrecken, sondern auch längere Flachlandstrecken, die heute bestimmt schneller als nur mit 125 km/h befahren werden dürften.

Aber die Schweiz ist landschaftlich viel zu schön zum schnellen Durchrasen.

Erinnert mich eher an einen Portalkranen, wie beim Umlad vom Schiff auf Güterwagen  :) .

 

Richtig, gehört zur Fa. E. Müller & Co. AG, Kieswerk in Güttingen (TG) am Bodensee.

Spurweite? - Geschätzte 50 m, dafür ist die Fahrstrecke keine 150m lang.
