cheaper and better terms.

Than whom? I'm always looking for a bargain :)

I started with Booking, com, then had all the multiple pop-ups that accompany the Tripadvisor "experience" - Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.

Same hotel, same room, standard double with free wireless internet and breakfast varied last night from £310 (Expedia) to £268 (Venere). 3 of them came up with £294. Cancel up to 6pm on day of arrival, pay locally on departure. Bargain. It's the Richmond Hotel, if you are interested.

p.s. Just run the self same search again and all the prices are different today, unsurprisingly...

Regards,

Bill

Ouch! £155 for two return from Manchester Fri-Mon

Did you get stung for EasyJet's new "Admin" charge of £9, which replaces their recently banned Debit Card charge of £8?

Sure did. But hell, it's worth it, to be able to enjoy everyone's company.

Cheers, Tom

Looking forward to seeing You all again. I cant believe the deal i got on Swiss £80 equivalent for return tickets. Only problem is I couldnt find a hotel with a swimming pool as my daughter loves the water. We shall all be there Thursday till Sunday so i may be with them some of the evenings.

Just booked flight & hotel (Savoy) ETA 16:30 on the 12th; ETD 14:40 on the 14th. In the hope that I'll do better than in Palermo; anyway, I can't let you get away with it!;)

Looking forward to see you then.

Apollo have responded, but they appear to be insisting on a single, set menu, which is a pity.

I will investigate further with them later today.

This is their "Party Menu". The implication is that everyone has to eat the same choice at every course, unless I'm missing something in their translation.

I don't know Andy, but my assumption would be a choice of any of the options for each course, i.e. everyone has to choose something from the options listed on the menu (rather than asking for say a different starter thats on a different menu), not the same for everyone, if that makes sense!

But it could be clearer!

It is a bit vague, and if it were in UK I would assume James to be correct, but I get the feeling that they want everyone to eat the same dishes - just like a function menu would - organiser's choice for all!

Not a good idea IMO.
