Advertisement Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Hi etienne_werner, Take a look here When I grow up I want to be a racing horse. . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted February 19, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 19, 2007 Etienne - The colors are so strange that at first I thought I preferred the B&W. However, the effect of the 15MM lens and the odd little hores seem to call out for the strange colors. I vote for the color version.

The colours are pretty much as shot. I checked the final raw output compared to the jpg and they are quite similar. Inspite of ambient light which was very soft, the colours were quite vivid. Perhaps it was the added contrast in PP. Kind regards, Etienne
jmr Posted February 19, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 19, 2007 Etienne, both really good shots - the colour one just has it for me.
imported_peter_m Posted February 20, 2007 Share #5 Posted February 20, 2007 Cute fellow Definitely the color version for me it has much more impact and the colors are so lively. Peter
svenning Posted February 20, 2007 Share #6 Posted February 20, 2007 Dear Etienne R Werner, The colour photo is the very best :-)) I also agree with you that the CV 15mm lens is making some very good wide-angle images. Maybe Leica should produce such a lens? All the best - Svenning, Denmark.
zanydave Posted February 20, 2007 Share #7 Posted February 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) The shot is excellent. Prefer the colour version too. Seeing a lot of shots with the CV 15 on this forum. Great lens. Dave
andybarton Posted February 22, 2007 Share #8 Posted February 22, 2007 The colour one definitely seems to bring out the character of this fellow, more than the B&W, which is sadder somehow.
lambroving Posted February 22, 2007 Share #9 Posted February 22, 2007 Color gets my vote too. Really like the way you composed this. What did he tell you?
wilfredo Posted February 22, 2007 Share #10 Posted February 22, 2007 They are both great but I'm always partial to B&W. I think B&W photography has the power to move us into a different state of mind, beyond the ordinary existence of our daily living. johnwolf Posted February 23, 2007 Share #11 Posted February 23, 2007 The rich hues and saturation make the color version my choice. John
azzo Posted February 23, 2007 Share #12 Posted February 23, 2007 What a really nice capture. Colour or b&w ? It really depends what mood you want to project. This image works very well in both versions Etienne, so you can't go wrong with your choice, IMHO. Azzo
