stuny Posted February 14, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 14, 2007 Christopher - Whenever we're in Thailand we marvel at the delicate beauty of theThai. This is a lovely photo, well framed with terrific light, tonal range and contrast, and a very handsome subject. Did he know you were taking his photo? Guest chriisi Posted February 14, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 14, 2007 thanks.. no he didn't realize it.. although i was quite close (shoot with the 35mm).. that is one good thing about the m; she is very inconspicuous ... i never ask taking photos.. it would destroy everything. i'm too less creative for posed photos.. jmr Posted February 14, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 14, 2007 Christopher, you've captured a distant, wistful look in this rather fine portrait - thanks.

Giulio Zanni Posted February 15, 2007 Share #7 Posted February 15, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Very nice, it is a pity that you didn't move an inch on the left side to avoid the handle bar to coincide with his head. Giulio

semrich Posted February 16, 2007 Share #9 Posted February 16, 2007 Considering the strong graphic lines throughout the entire picture I think the handrail isn't an issue, the intense concentration on the subject pulls you into it and you hardly notice the handrail. It is a very nice candid portrait, composed with its contextual elements, excellent tones and out of focus areas.
