250swb Posted September 6, 2011 Share #2 Posted September 6, 2011 Fujinon lenses are very good indeed, only slightly behind Olympus, and they are in turn behind Leica. Steve

jippiejee Posted September 6, 2011 Share #4 Posted September 6, 2011 i f u see in many sites and pro comments , they said the image quality of leica x1 and fuji x100 are about same. I've seen reviews proving the opposite actually. Leica X1's elmarit beat the X100 lens by wide margins.
jaapv Posted September 6, 2011 Share #5 Posted September 6, 2011 I was not aware of any Fujinon lenses with M or R mount.
mjh Posted September 6, 2011 Share #6 Posted September 6, 2011 There is a wide range of Fujinon lenses, from lenses in compact digicams to Hasselblad’s HC lenses, most of which are built and designed by Fujinon. As indeed there are no Fujinon lenses for the M, R, or S mounts the comparison is largely moot, although one could usefully compare the lenses of the X1 and X100. sblitz Posted September 25, 2011 Share #12 Posted September 25, 2011 comparing two fixed mount digital cameras and saying something about the difference between the lenses seems to be stretching it a bit -- unless the sensor and the incamera software are exactly the same. hard to know what you are really comparing.
