war Posted August 3, 2015 Share #781 Posted August 3, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I don't get the Sainsbury reference, is it British humor? Too bad about the details rule, the whole building is a giveaway. Now it looks like the hull of a ship.

FrozenInTime Posted August 4, 2015 Share #782 Posted August 4, 2015 Now it looks like the hull of a ship. Ha ha - a deep hull in Hull https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Deep_(aquarium)
masjah Posted August 4, 2015 Share #783 Posted August 4, 2015 Indeed, it is The Deep in my own city of Kingston upon Hull. This is a fascinating vertically stratified aquarium (sometimes therefore described as a submarium). Very well worth a visit, as is our city, despite its being a bit of a geographical outlier. sls Posted August 5, 2015 Share #787 Posted August 5, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) The confusing thing about this picture is that the sun never shines in Glasgow, at least not when I went. I just find the place grim. the Riverside Museum, to remind them they had a ship building industry many years ago.
FrozenInTime Posted August 5, 2015 Share #788 Posted August 5, 2015 That's the place - Glasgow's transport museum basking in the sun late one on a winter afternoon.

Clactonian Posted September 4, 2015 Share #799 Posted September 4, 2015 Well it certainly isn't the British Museum as there is a blue sky in evidence. Sorry you have me beaten if it isn't in France. ( And I guess it isn't!!)
