Telyt2003 Posted July 15, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 15, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) The image was taken with the head of the Elmar 135/4 (from the 1960s) in the Focorapid (via adapter 14114A) with Visoflex2/3, M8 (probably at 5,6). The Elmar is already very usable at 4, and can remain fully open in lower light. The small head of the Elmar 135/4 makes 135 mm an extremely compact addition to the 200/280/400 mm set of focal lengths which can be used with the Focorapid. Thanks for looking! Telyt2003 Posted July 22, 2011 Author Share #4 Posted July 22, 2011 Thank you, Karl-Albert, Stuart and Paul! For sure, I knew what was to come: I know the situation, where to stand, and my reflexes have done the click. But before, there was the pre-focusing on the person, then on person‘s arm when she lifted it, and then a small amount of follow focus until the seal's snout had narrowed to the frisbee (the seal will open its snout only a very precise "little bit" to finally grab it). It is in such situations where the "Focorapid's" name really is its programme: It allows a really fast and accurate cascade of, greater and even the smallest, adjustments to the focus.
