Guest Posted August 15, 2018 Share #122 Posted August 15, 2018 Upgraded my M9 a couple of years ago as it also needed a sensor replacement, I was waiting for the improved sensor rather than just replacing like for like. When it came back it still had the old base plate which Leica confirmed was correct, a new base isn't included. That's contrary to what some are saying here, sounds like some got a M9-P base as part of the upgrade. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Leica NJ gave me the option to choose whether I wanted to include the sapphire glass option. I think I’m going to revisit as 12 weeks is a pretty long time to be without my camera.
