ryee3 Posted May 24, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Where can I purchase a flash accessory that will allow me to use my leica flash unit away from the hotshoe on the camera body. A wire connection within 24 inches should work. Thanks:)

ho_co Posted May 24, 2011 Share #3 Posted May 24, 2011 The Nikon remote flash cords work fine, and I think Olympus's may as well. Nikon part SC-28 is the current version.
Erik Gunst Lund Posted May 26, 2011 Share #4 Posted May 26, 2011 There are three Nikon version that you can use SC-27 screw locking SC-28 flip flop pin locking SC-29 current version, but it has a IR emitting device that is only used for AF so not needed. Get a used SC-27 or 28 from KEH or B&H
MikeMyers Posted June 4, 2011 Share #5 Posted June 4, 2011 I've got all those old flash cords from my film Nikon F4. Are you guys saying they'll work fine using the M8.2 and a flash? I don't (yet) have a Leica flash, but I did figure out how to get an SB28 flash to work in the accessory shoe. I don't like on-camera flash shots though, which is why I got the remote cords a lifetime ago.
