farnz Posted July 12, 2011 Share #81 Posted July 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) But weren't we intending to "flash mob" St Pancras station after lunch? My dancing days are well over... Thank goodness you sorted that one out for me, Louis, I had the horrific mental picture of 30 naked Leica photographers running into St Pancras station ... As the ultimate gentleman I would of course, at enormous personal cost, have insisted on staying behind - as it were - and minding the clothes. Utterly selfless, me. Pete. Pete, its a form of spontaneous synchronised dancing. That a double dose of Voltarol for me to be able to do that kind of thing. LouisB

Xmas Posted July 14, 2011 Share #84 Posted July 14, 2011 This makes 15 + 2 possibles. I would appreciate it if you could let me know by Thursday if anyone is NOT going to proceed to the Norfolk Arms for lunch. Hi Brian I reviewed thread, I wont be able to make the St P area until 13:00 or so, so sorree, hope notice not too late for your org. Hope to see you Sat then, I'll bring brolly and Barbour. Noel

roydonian Posted July 15, 2011 Share #88 Posted July 15, 2011 Got back from Belgium yesterday with a rotten cold, but it seems to be clearing up. So assuming a feel like a functional (and non-infectious) member of the human race by tomorrow morning, I’ll take the train that arrives at Liverpool Street at around 10.15. A quick run on the central line will get me to St Pauls, from where I can walk to the Museum. Carsten – if you decide to take the train from Broxbourne, my train should get there at 10.47. I’ll be in the second carriage from the front. Look for a guy wearing a hat and with a black shade over one eye. Best regards, Doug

Depending on the weather I'll wear a blue or red jacket. The train should arrive at Waltham Cross at round about 09:50h? You mentioned a Broxbourne arrival at 10:47h ??? Looking forward to see you, Carsten

spylaw4 Posted July 16, 2011 Share #100 Posted July 16, 2011 Well I would like to record my thanks to all the 18 - yes 18 members that met up today at some point or other. 15 at the Museum and an extra 3 at lunch at the Norfolk Arms. I would also like to thank Antony Robbins of the Museum for giving up his time to conduct us on an all to brief whirlwind tour of the Museum's new Modern London Galleries, and I have emailed him our thanks. We could then enjoy at somewhat greater leisure the Street Photography exhibition. Both aspects deserve a more leisurely appreciation at a future date. All in all a most enjoyable day - good to see you all. Photos to follow later!
