Washington Posted May 5, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 5, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I scanned this chart from Mr. Matheson fine book: The Leica & Leicaflex Way. Thought Viso-Guys might find it handy if you don’t have the book. Welcome, dear visitor! hoppyman Posted May 5, 2011 Share #2 Posted May 5, 2011 Washington, that is a bit naughty including copyright material directly in a forum post, however useful. Yes these charts of material originally from Leica are reproduced in various forms in a number of publications and sites
Washington Posted May 6, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted May 6, 2011 Gee, Hoppyman, I figured it was just a Leica chart published for Leica users that the author used in his book. I don't think.... because I admittedly copied it from the book, that it it represents author owned material. But, I am no lawyer: that's for sure. ldhrads Posted May 6, 2011 Share #5 Posted May 6, 2011 I recently bought a copy of the eight edition of Matheson's book. Read through it on a plane trip. What a great reference. I really enjoyed it. The charts are vintage leica, but as many are seeing, there is definitely a resurgence in the use of vintage leica Viso and Telyt equipment since the M9 is so great at taking advantage of these fine pieces of equipment. Washington Posted May 6, 2011 Author Share #8 Posted May 6, 2011 I thought this chart interesting as I had never seen it before and I learned some things I didn’t know…. like how handy the #16469 is behind the footed #16466 adapter for getting close with a bunch of lenses. It may have been elsewhere but I just hadn’t noticed. It works too!

And as a lawyer, I can confirm you didn't break any law in sharing it with Forum members !
Washington Posted May 7, 2011 Author Share #10 Posted May 7, 2011 Whew, that’s a load off my mind. I’ve been keeping a low profile up here in the cabin expecting the Leica SWAT team to show up!
