Advertisement Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Hi jaapv, Take a look here The world from above - Game Thread. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted November 16, 2018 Share #5222 Posted November 16, 2018 I suspect part of the issue is that a lot of us have run out of photos to post if we win.

Hello Stefans4, Actually, I don't solve any of the "where is?" photos like "above", "architecture", etc, because I don't have the ability to put a photo in the Forum right now. I simply guess close enough to give others a hint where somewhere might be & hope that someone else will figure it out. a.j.z Posted November 18, 2018 Share #5229 Posted November 18, 2018 Michael, which equipment do you use: PC, Mac, iPad?
Michael Geschlecht Posted November 18, 2018 Share #5230 Posted November 18, 2018 Hello Andreas, Thank you for your reply. I have an old Windows lap top with no access to any way of converting a film print or a negative into a form that can be transmitted to the Forum. I am a self taught computer user. a.j.z Posted November 18, 2018 Share #5231 Posted November 18, 2018 Michael - understood, i had thought that the problem is to downsize the photos. If you have a smartphone you could use it as a scanner.

Michael Geschlecht Posted November 18, 2018 Share #5233 Posted November 18, 2018 Hello Andreas, All of the phones here plug in the wall. Some even have rotary dials. We used to have 1 with a crank. Cranking the phone dials the Operator which means a large supplemental charge for "Operator Assistance". I appreciate the help. AZach Posted November 20, 2018 Share #5237 Posted November 20, 2018 Thanks Stuart, the Statue is so famous, cannot be mistaken. The left bank of this hazy lake here in the picture is a special area. jaapv Posted November 20, 2018 Author Share #5238 Posted November 20, 2018 A dam... Could be anywhere... Judging by the tree, temperate to nordic climate zone.
AZach Posted November 20, 2018 Share #5239 Posted November 20, 2018 Hello Jaap, not quite anywhere as huge areas and even countries (like yours and mine ☺️) are much lower and flatter than this. Anyway temperate (in a very pleasant way) climate zone is definitely correct. The dam is a major road and rail transport artery.
