Brent:

No, that's not where I was, but don't give up yet.

Additional hint: the wilderness area shown in my image is more than twice the size of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness Area and the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness Area combined.

Hang in there -- you'll get it.

Brent -- your patience and persistence has been rewarded -- over to you !

By the way - if you're ever in the area - the Beartooth Highway, which runs between Cooke City, MT and Red Lodge, MT through the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness (via northern Wyoming), is a spectacular drive. However, depending on your travel dates, just be sure to confirm that it's open - Beartooth Pass frequently is closed (due to heavy snow accumulation) from early October until after Memorial Day. Short season.

Okay, enough with the snow. Time to turn up the heat. Provide the name of this bay and you'll win a no-expense paid trip there.

Thanks. The shot could have been taken from the house of a very good friend of mine who we have visited. He was born and raised there. That's why it was so familiar.

I'll come up with something shortly.
