Rolo Posted January 30, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) When I met this chap he was draining a sodden piece of land in Cwmorthin, North Wales. In his eighties, I asked why would you spend your time doing it. "To improve the land I'm leaving behind". And, he did leave it the following winter. stuny Posted January 30, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 30, 2007 Rolo - Delightful - I suspect his looking so good at that age is partly because he kept so active. Lovely environmental protrait, benefiting from your usuall full, lush tones.

gverdon Posted January 30, 2007 Share #9 Posted January 30, 2007 Rolo, indeed, a very sensitive portrait. I know you like your frames but I would like to see such an image slightly larger... Now, the surrounding countryside is amazing and enhance greatly the portrait. Thanks for sharing. Gérald
