The version I really like is the 812 GTS, where apparently Ferrari took the very sensible step of making the steering less twitchy and softening the throttle response. I know someone who has cancelled his SF90 Hybrid order and is taking a Roma delivery instead. When he test drove it, he said he could not believe how much nicer and different it is to drive, compared to his wife's Portofino, which he does not like at all.

Wilson -

He's gong to spend far less on the Roma than he would have on the SF90.

Interesting that he he finds the Roma so much nicer than the Portofino when you consider how much is shared between the two cars.  I suppose it makes sense since the marching orders for the Roma was to suggest the great grand touring cars of years past.  It would certainly be my choice if I could get low enough on the waiting list, and come up with the cash.

My first idea was a Ford. But which? Doesn´t look like a Mustang March One, so I thought of a Falcon. Which one, no idea. Must be a hotter one. A GT. There is an XA Superbird but it looks a bit different. Maybe it´s worth searching all the different X-models of it.

And there are other non-US market Fords, like Cortinas. A Cortina Hot Rod Muscle car, maybe from SA? Who knows.

Very very impressive - I chose a particularly tricky/misleading crop IMHO.

The wider crop should settle things.

Yes - 1975 Rover P6 3500 V8 - will post the full pic in a bit but I very much thought that Graham deserved “the points” as I had made it very hard I thought with that crop and he had made the leap to the P6.
It was interesting when I was selecting the crop how much by hiding the second light and the curve of the plastic grille it did begin to look both US and Japanese 70s as others obviously saw too...

Maybe the quality coachwork of the lower bonnet edge might have hinted “British” 😉

Not „British“, I expected even worse!

(a „Fordish“ third world license production which was heavily used and repaired in the „bush“ over decades - so in a way 1970s British, haha)

Never seen a later plastic grille P6 over here in Germany. At least not from so close, that was a tricky crop for a non british guy 😉

I tried to check the letters on the grille which reflected on the chrome bumper but with no sufficient result.
