The paint job and chrome trim at the back of the bonnet/hood wings and front of the scuttle looks American but the double height windscreen is rarely seen on anything other than British coachbuilt cars, so at a very approximate guess a Springfield, MA built Phantom I Rolls Royce.

RR?

Gentlemen,

You spotted well that the car was probably made for the US market. However it is neither a RR, nor has the coachwork been conducted in the US. When new its price exceeded that of a RR Phantom I.

Wilson,

You are correct, it's the Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A Castagna Roadster from 1929.

It's a rather impressively sized car for two seats :)

I found it in a showroom / museum in Boxtel, the Netherlands, not too far from where I live.

(Should anyone of you visit the place (classicpark) send me a PM and we could have an impromptu Leica meeting ...)

Over to you,

Rgds

Those Isotta Fraschini 8As are always beautiful to look at and sound great as well. Now that people make electric power steering packs that you can fit in the middle of the steering column, you could cure their major problem, which is the incredibly heavy steering. I am thinking of getting one of these EPS packs for my Porsche 911 RSR, which can be fitted in the small hatch in the base of the front compartment, where the air con condenser goes in road cars and is where I currently carry 5L spare engine oil and 1L transaxle oil containers.

Here is your next one. I am not going to indulge in a 20 questions as that would make it too easy. Just yes or no for Marque and model.
