Given the car reflected in the last picture is either a Vauxhall or a Peugeot, I'd wager this car is in the UK or Europe, and those rear lights don't remind me of any US manufactured or distributed cars.

Ramarren,

You are correct about Europe ( though I thought the UK would count as part of that Continent ...  ;) )

LOL! Some of my friends over there consider that it does, others do not. I'm trying to be geopolitic friendly.  :D

Stuny,

You are right. My apologies; life intervened and I forgot...

Some hints:

- This type of car can apparently be found in several cities in France.

- It does not run on fuel.

- Apart from the car itself, the company building it also provides a significant infrastructure with / around the car.

Wilson, correct! It is quite an interesting concept for car-sharing in large overcrowded cities. I'd like to try one one day...

I am just off to photograph a family wedding and going straight from there down to France, so no access to the internet until next Thursday. I am even leaving my SD cards with another niece who is a professional photographer, also doing the same wedding, for her to process. Could someone else take over the baton pro tem.
