Well done, Phil, and it's your turn. they will release it next month, and being a 3-wheeler, in the US it will require motorcycle registration, but automobile operator's licence. This is on 49th Street a few meters east of Rockefeller Plaza.

I'm afraid I don't have a picture to post so if somebody else does then please go ahead.

I hope you all don't mind me playing the game even though I have no pictures to post?

How about this one? Maker and approximate yesr would be fine.

Yes! I assume you also know when it was built, so your turn, Wilson.

Here is the full picture with the perfectly styled owners.

Andreas,

1902/3 would be my guess for the Olds.

Here is your next one. Not a great photo I am afraid as it was taken inside and there is a bit of camera shake plus this is a quite tight crop.

No, that's not right - I went and looked at a picture of the Speed Six and I'm not even close.

The fairing around the driver's compartment (seen through the windscreen) and the wiper mounting through the windscreen should probably be big clues. Obviously a Brit, but having a full windscreen is throwing me.

You make me think of Railtons, but I cannot recall any with louvers on the top of the bonnet.

Later than Railton’s. Other than the land speed record cars and John Cobb’s Brooklands 24 Litre Broad Arrow Lion engined car, much faster, certainly than the Hudson Terraplane engined cars. It would still be faster than the Cobb circuit car.

Work on the crossword clue, you should then get the answer. ;)

I can’t show any more of the car or it would be instantly recognisable.

I had never encountered "Napier’s Bones" before and when I looked it up it made me think of the Curta calculator used in the pre-electronic calculator era by rally teams, suggesting a rally car. At the moment I seem to recall a UK auto being built in xxxx Mews, but cannot recall which car or which mews. Assuming I'm not off track, perhaps that reasoning will help sombody else get it.

You have to look at where Napier lived. I was taught all about it as I went to a school with the same name. The car was not built in the answer but these cars were forever associated with the place.
