Alfa Romeo Alfetta Spider Pininfarina (1972)

Correct. Given some of the weird decisions made by Alfa Romeo, it is amazing that this monstrosity escaped production. A Pontiac Bonneville crashed into an X1/9. As for the Wolfrace wheels, which Farina must have bought in some North London speed shop.....Mind you given my experience of a 1972 Alfetta, a couple of showers of rain and it would have turned into a heap of iron oxide sitting on the ground.

Your turn.

John,

You can’t compare that Alfa gargoyle with the Ghia Barracuda. That one I would have in my garage any day - very handsome and quick as well. All it would need would be some tlc to the brakes, shock absorbers and steering box.

Sorry for the delay, it's been a couple of very busy days but I managed to get a new mystery car for you.

No Vauxhall, no Cresta and no Hillman

But definitely an Italian coach builder not Bertone but you can see it in the next fragment.

Correct Ronald, I saw this one at Antwerp's Classic Car event earlier this year. From the license plate you can see that at least one of the survivors is located in Belgium.

Over to you and here is the complete picture of the car.
