No Birdcage, no Maserati, sorry.

But the next picture/s will lead you guys to the right model.

Therefore I want to hear some details about it´s race history (team/drivers).

Sorry, Wilson. Time for another generous crop.

That´s it! I think it´s the car used by l'Equipe Nationale Belge (-> yellow stripe for the team, one driver was "Wild Willy" Mairesse) in

Le Mans 1967 (3rd place).

The 1:24 scale slot car shown runs fine, somehow the "917" wiper Wilson mentioned got cracked in one of the battles ;)

Your turn!

OK, let's try with this detail.

The resolution isn't high as I expected unfortunately, I hope it's enough.

First sort-of-hint: compared to average quality and value of the cars we've seen in these pages, this car isn't much. But it's the most fascinating car I've ever owned and I dearly miss it! :)

To me it´s never about value (money), it´s about if we remember it as a childhood car, a daily driver-, dream- or fun car. Sometimes I even post standard modern cars just to sharpen your (design) senses in daily traffic.

This one is interesting, assume you had some good fun with it. Mixed wheel sizes, little spoiler. Curious who will find out what it is ;)

I think it's going to be quite easy, I tried several crops but the design of this car is quite "obvious" in all of them. :)

That was 1 week after I bought it in 2006, in Monza.

Later on, I fitted a set of semi-slicks (Advan 048).

I drove that car to many, many circuits around Europe for lots of trackdays, and in 30.000 km the only problem that I've had was a broken suspension bushing worth 10 Euros. Proving that the reputation of poor reliability of these cars (HINT! :) ) is wrong.
