dkCambridgeshire Posted September 2, 2013 Share #5422 Posted September 2, 2013 Sounds like my joke about Bristols London showroom ("We are not here to sell you a car, we are here to lock the door, when new customers arrive") Daimler design: It´s an E-Type, it´s a frog eye, it´s a pig, it´s a TR 4, it´s a Reliant - NO, it´s all of them ... & don't forget the Sunbeam Alpine rear end influence dunk

wlaidlaw Posted September 3, 2013 Share #5429 Posted September 3, 2013 I think that is a T6 Tuscan from around 2006 but I am not good at telling one TVR from another. I am usually driving past them, as they are sitting at the side of the road with their bonnets up - miaow. Wilson

wlaidlaw Posted September 3, 2013 Share #5433 Posted September 3, 2013 If it is not a Tuscan or a T350C like Ronald guessed, I am running out of modern TVR's I know. The only other one I can think of is a Typhon. I know 1960's TVR's much better. I had a lucky escape when I did not buy one of the original V8 Griffiths models then jumped out of the frying pan into the fire by buying a Lightweight IWR Elan instead from the same dealer. Rona!d Posted September 3, 2013 Share #5437 Posted September 3, 2013 Thanks and sorry I missed a detail. Was wondering if I also missed an S for the more powerful 375 hp version. Fortunately this was "just" a T. I´ll post something new this evening when I´m back on my home computer.
stuny Posted September 3, 2013 Share #5438 Posted September 3, 2013 The first TVR I ever saw was the new Griffith Wilson speaks of. The size, shape and power to weight ratio were most attention getting. I guess I dodged that bullet, too.
