wlaidlaw Posted August 20, 2013 Share #5303 Posted August 20, 2013 + the colour - I wonder if they really drive as good as they say (not easy to get hold of one here): My brother said he was a little underwhelmed when he first got the Mclaren and really irritated by some features (the electric handbrake which does not work like it is supposed to, the abysmal GPS, which tells you very approximately where you were about 20 minutes ago, when it finally does manage to pick up some satellites and the location of the gearbox selector buttons, under your elbow). However the more he drives it, the better he is getting to like it. It is the exact opposite of a 458 Ferrari which is incredibly impressive when you first drive it but gradually the noise, rock hard ride, violent gearchanges and twitchiness will start to get on your wick. a.j.z Posted August 20, 2013 Share #5306 Posted August 20, 2013 Andreas' subject seems to be far more ordinary than much of what we've seen here of late. And interestingly it apparantly creates more trouble than some more exotic cars ... Will post more of it later if nobody has an idea.
