It is about time Wiesmann moved away from that horrible square tube space frame (round tubes would be just about acceptable) to a more modern aluminium monocoque chassis like even Morgan has. Square tube space frames always remind me of the worst of the British kit cars, Dutton etc, made during the boom for those in the 1970's. The chassis is not in keeping with the craftsmanship of the rest of the car.

The last time I was at the Nurburgring, there was the Wiesmann owners club there. I followed a few around. They looked to be rather out of their depth at the ring.

Sorry, catching some team members in the "Altes Fahrerlager", my fault. Here is the right one, from Oldtimer Grand Prix starting grid 2009, and by the way, sher's celebrating 50s birthday this month!

Cheers, Andreas

...which are the letters I want to see on my screen. Its not an MGBGT but a roadster with hardtop.

Your turn, Stuart.

And here is the full picture of our birthday child, MGB becomes 50 years this October. Taken at Oldtimer Grand Prix Nurburgring in August 2009; I was team photographer and mechanic of #56 "Flying Squirrel" MGB driven by Horst Pokroppa (Germany) and Curt Wagner (Luxemburg).

Cheers, Andreas

Andreas -

Your 60 year old baby appears to be in marvelous condition. My MGs were a '52 TD and an '58 MGA Coupe.

Here's the next one, with a generous crop since I'm not certain how well known this car is:

Still nothing? Here's another view (with the New Jersey numbers plate obliterated since it hinted at the car's ID):
