Advertisement Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Hi Stefan2010, Take a look here Name this car..... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted September 21, 2012 Share #4162 Posted September 21, 2012 I too was thinking of one of the little Hondas of the late '60s early '70s (360, 600 or 800) but it seems just a bit off).
wlaidlaw Posted September 21, 2012 Share #4163 Posted September 21, 2012 I thought Honda S600/800 but the headlight shape is wrong. The Hondas have the side/indicator under the headlight. What about a Heron Europa or its identically bodied Swiss successor an MBM Tourismo. Wilson
Andreas.Pichler Posted September 21, 2012 Share #4164 Posted September 21, 2012 Dear fellow enthusiasts, when calling "Honda" you are at least on the right island. The only challenge left is to name maker (which is nit Honda, but there are some left) and model ;-) Cheers , Andreas
Andreas.Pichler Posted September 21, 2012 Share #4165 Posted September 21, 2012 What shalls...its weekend now, why to make life harder at it is? Another hint. By the way: Is anybody of you folks at Blenheim Castle this weekend, MGB r50 ? I could't make it, but would love any sort of photo. Cheers, Andreas Welcome, dear visitor! Andreas.Pichler Posted September 22, 2012 Share #4169 Posted September 22, 2012 (edited) Dear Wilson, close enough for me, especially 'cause Sir Stirling Moss is named ;-)+ Its a Suzuki Fronte 500 (the export version of the 360, and maked up like the 360SS), photo taken at Schloss Dyck Classic Car Event this August. Find more information here: Suzuki Fronte - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia And to enjpoy the exciting sound: So, up to you again, Wilson! Cheers, Andreas Welcome, dear visitor! wlaidlaw Posted September 23, 2012 Share #4170 Posted September 23, 2012 This should be an easy one as a very unusual looking car. Wilson Welcome, dear visitor! Rona!d Posted September 24, 2012 Share #4171 Posted September 24, 2012 Wilson, if nobody wants to answer because it´s too easy ... you shouldn´t show a 1955 Pegaso Z 102B Grand Turismo Coupe (Berlinetta Superleggera) next time
wlaidlaw Posted September 24, 2012 Share #4172 Posted September 24, 2012 Your turn. I am only on iPad at the moment as my MPB has crashed after 10.8.2 and MS Office upgrade, where calendar and Outlook are duplicating the same entries by the thousand and I cannot stop it even with all sync turned off. As and when I get this resolved, I will post the full pic of the Pegaso. Wilson
Rona!d Posted September 24, 2012 Share #4173 Posted September 24, 2012 Good luck with the MPB, Wilson. So I´ll check if i can find something more difficult Kidding, might be a car everybody knows next time.

stuny Posted September 24, 2012 Share #4175 Posted September 24, 2012 Is it in the shop for body work or restoration?
wlaidlaw Posted September 24, 2012 Share #4176 Posted September 24, 2012 Looks home made! Finally after 4 hours work, sorted my MBP - not too impressed with either Apple or Microsoft. I can only assume they don't talk to each other about Orifice for Mac. Here is the complete pic of the Pegaso. I went to examine and drive a different one on behalf of a potential buyer. Embarrassingly for the owner, it would not start! Still on the look out for the right one but it must be the supercharged model. Wilson Welcome, dear visitor! wlaidlaw Posted September 25, 2012 Share #4179 Posted September 25, 2012 Gents, any questions about my riddle? Can´t believe nobody has an idea. Ronajd, I think you need to show us a bit more of one which is not being repaired. I assume it is the back of the car and those bolts are to attach a number plate, so it is a road car. It looks a bit like the inner panel on an XJ220 with the rear grille removed. The quality of the finish is about right for TWR, who made the car, except there is not enough tank tape hanging off, squint pop rivets or unsnipped cable ties lying around. They make a Trabant look well built. The only other cars with this quality of GRP I can think of are TVR and Venturi and maybe the F40 but the shape of the rear is wrong for the central exhausts of the F40. Rona!d Posted September 26, 2012 Share #4180 Posted September 26, 2012 Wilson, interesting thoughts. That car has better quality than you may think It´s "plastic" though. I have to check the other photos for more details.
