wlaidlaw Posted September 13, 2012 Share #4123 Posted September 13, 2012 Buick Skylark GS!!!!!! I thought of that but all the ones I could find pictures of had twin nostrils. I wondered if that was an aftermarket scoop on the hood. Wilson
stuny Posted September 13, 2012 Share #4124 Posted September 13, 2012 The Chevelle and the Buick (neither of which these are) were built on the same platforms as the puzzle car and had similar sheet metal, so you now know the parent manufacturer. And yes, the double nostrils were from the factory just as you see them in two model years. Here's a full shot with the model and marque badges cloned out. Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted September 13, 2012 Share #4130 Posted September 13, 2012 idei is in fact correct. This one is either a 1970 or 1971, the two years that had that hood (bonnet). It was going to participate in a parade a bit later that day. Your turn.

stuny Posted September 13, 2012 Share #4132 Posted September 13, 2012 The rear edge seems like Mercedes, but the vent in the C pillar and the steering wheel suggest otherwise. Probably German or Italian.

wlaidlaw Posted September 14, 2012 Share #4136 Posted September 14, 2012 nice! yes it is a Lancia 2000 HF coupe. foto(s) of the day: 2000 your turn! My father had a Flavia Zagato Coupé on order when sadly he had a stroke in 1968 and had to cancel it. For the rest of his life, he had to put up with my mother's truly awful driving in a series of DAF's and Volvo 66's. I was able to take him out however in my Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF coupé in around 1972/3. This was a lovely car apart from the dreaded Italian tin worm. Anyway here is the next car - not an easy one I think. Wilson Welcome, dear visitor! Wilson that sucks about your father. i really love the Fulvia HF though.....what a fantastic car. i'd love to have one, one day. is the car you posted a Jaguar XK120/XK140? i know that seems too easy of a guess after you said it's "not an easy one"...but hey worth a shot!
