stuny Posted February 16, 2012 Share #2992 Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) The way the wiper attaches suggests this is 1960s or later. Edited February 16, 2012 by stuny

Rona!d Posted February 16, 2012 Share #2997 Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) Back in the game. This should be an Alfa Romeo Montreal, but the wiper looks to the wrong side, so I was confused by the first shot. p.s. Is that 1st image mirrored? I can´t see the steeering wheel, think even the right hand driven Montreals had the wiper like the euro and US models. Gibbo Posted February 16, 2012 Share #2998 Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) Ronald, it is indeed a RHD Montreal. In fact it was my Montreal. And in those days Alfa did have different wiper linkages for LHD and RHD. Sadly the car is no longer mine. I sold it six years ago and still miss it Welcome, dear visitor! Andreas.Pichler Posted February 16, 2012 Share #2999 Posted February 16, 2012 Oh my god - no comes a "two-by-two" inches crop made by Ronald of a Ford Mercury prototype sitting in a hut in Detroit since 45 years 6 months 24 days...and you have to identify it by this typical spiders web design ;-) Cheers, Andreas PS: Nice car you have had, Gibbo! elansprint72 Posted February 17, 2012 Author Share #3000 Posted February 17, 2012 Clever dicks and usual suspects please abstain.... this old friend and, arguably, piece of modern sculpture was resting at LM prior to doing what it was conceived to do. Designed in England, funded by America, built in England, improved by America, raced in France..... Enjoyed by many................ I can't help thinking that this thread has become something of an exclusive club, which really was not my intention, so: opinions sought from the silent majority.
