Thanks, Ronald.

From an oldtimer meeting here is a very difficult (for outside UK members) car from the fifties. Even it's lefthanddrive it's a very popular brand all over the world.......

The headlights look a bit like Honda S800 Coupé, but it's not from Japan....

Okay, last try: Ford Escort (the other van out of the Anlia/Prefect range). And I am absolutey shure that it is one of the Angia/Prefect range, the headlamp design is so unique...

Cheers, Andreas

Andreas, Bingo!

It's the Ford 'Prefect'. But what about the Anglia? Is it some kind of sibling?

Yeahhhh! Oh boy, look at #2575 - your "no" cost me some hours research today, now I am totally up to date to the whole Anglia range ;-)

Ja, Prefect is a combination of Anglia body and mechanical parts from other Fords (tyical british car engineering: "Lets have a look for the leftovers in the shelf...". The Squire and the Escort have been the van versions.

Okay, if I understand it right, its me with the next picture? I will grab my Leica, and go for a short walk into the garage...

Cheers, Andreas

So, here we are...decided to take one from my archive instead of one in the garage, to make it a little bit easier for you.

Again we are taling about right hand driven cars, and again its a sort of evolution...

And the name of this car is - do you know it?

Cheers, Andreas
