Graham (G4FUJ) Posted August 24 Share #23802 Posted August 24 Was the grille that gave it away. Unfortunately I do not have any suitable photo to post so open to anyone.
a.j.z Posted August 24 Share #23803 Posted August 24 (edited) We are not completely there yet but the rest should be easy (it is a coupe from Audi but not the one called Audi Coupe). The second photo shows the difference. Edited August 24 by a.j.z
stuny Posted August 24 Share #23804 Posted August 24 I was thinking of the original Audi Quatro, a rally car from about 1980.

The Quattro was the sport version and several times winner of the WRC. It relates to the the Audi Coupe like a normal Lancia Delta to an Integrale. Graham (G4FUJ) Posted August 24 Share #23808 Posted August 24 (edited) THE iconic stage rally car, of the period (in full rally trim that is!). I lost interest in Audis after this. Edited August 24 by Graham (G4FUJ)

wlaidlaw Posted August 24 Share #23810 Posted August 24 Here is your next one. A somewhat old fashioned looking car but in other ways bang up to date. I have blanked out the maker's badge. wlaidlaw Posted August 24 Share #23812 Posted August 24 No Stuart, purely and strictly an on road vehicle. It is a smallish car but given the period when they were made, I don't think it could ever be classified as a Microcar. For its period it is close to unique. From what records I have, I believe that over 350 of them were made, over a 4 year period. Its layout and propulsion were later copied by other makers. wlaidlaw Posted August 28 Share #23818 Posted August 28 A clue is that this civilian car was made in Europe between 1941 and 1944. Very few civilian cars were made in this period. Wilson
