Not a usual Tatra colour AFAIK Very well reasoned ! This indeed is a 1938 Tatra T97 Aerodynamic Sedan. The T97 series, basically a scaled down version of T87' was designed by one of Hans Ledwinka's sons, Erich, the main external difference being the lack of a sixth window on each side, the windshield is just a single flat pane of glass and no center-mounted headlight. NigelG Posted 5 hours ago Share #23439 Posted 5 hours ago I believe the production numbers are "a few" but no others in this colour combo i think (hope...)
wlaidlaw Posted 2 hours ago Share #23440 Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I can tell you its registration number if that helps. It is C546BFB and was made (butchered?) by Glenfrome. Looks like it is brush painted in Dulux gloss. I believe most of their output went to Brunei and straight into storage. I believe it is currently for sale for £9000 (or nearest offer).
