I think I may know what it is (sum total of numerals = 9) but I will let others have a go....

I can confirm with absolute certainty that the Quiz Car is NOT a Ferrari 333 SP. Other than that?.......😸......

Getting Warmer!

Taken along with the other two this crop will (probably) be enough to pinpoint matters;

Before this latest crop I was thinking PF design, and probably the FIAT Dino Spyder, but I don't understand the "Yankee Doodle Dandy" reference.

Ah! Sorry if there has been a modicum of confusion! The phrase you mention, Stuart, came up in regard to the previous 'Puzzle Car' therefore nothing to do with the current car. In post 22855 I wrote;

"...I believe it to be a Lamborghini Huracán of some flavour......For some strange reason the second couplet from the first verse of 'Elected' by Alice Cooper is running through my head as I type..." (n.b. my stress here)

Andreas subsequently picked-up the baton and replied with;

"...an Evo (so no „golden Rolls Royce..."

Finally I responded with;

"...but it does appear to be somewhat Yankee-Doodle-Dandy!..."

The song concerns the desperate wish of some unnamed megalomaniac to become President of the USA and opens with the lines;

"I'm your top prime cut of meat, I'm your choice
I wanna be elected
I'm your yankee doodle dandy in a gold Rolls Royce
I wanna be elected".

Considering it was penned over fifty years ago it has proved to be strangely prophetic...

Back To Business!

Yes; obviously (now!) a Pininfarina design. Not, however, a Dino of any sort.

This crop should put things beyond all doubt;

Graham could be on to something - a 504 Cabriolet?

Indeed it could be, Stuart!

The 504 was introduced in 1968 and the Cabrio version came out the following year. It remained in production until 1983 with over 3 million examples of all types being made. I have absolutely no hard evidence which would pin-down the correct year for this one which was snapped at the same time as the Renault posted a few cars ago.

Along wih the Coupé version - also a Pinin design - these must be (IMO) amongst the most attractive Peugeots ever released (I happen to prefer the Coupé).

3/4 frontal to finish up;

Thank you.  Let's try this one.  I had to Google it to find out what it is.  It's not a production car, but made for a movie.  Name the movie, please.
