Since Nigel appears to be in absentia, allow me to fill in with something. The year is not so important  in this case, as all the vehicles in this run were built in a single batch and that's all they'll ever make..... but I would like the manufacturer, the important co-conspirator(s) and the model name, please.

You have it, Wilson. It's a M-B / McLaren SLR Stirling Moss Edition 2009 Roadster, exhibited at it's Nortrh American debut at the Pebble Beach 'Concept Car' lawn, i.e. the practice green in front of the proshop at the Del Monte lodge.  Later in the day after all the trophies were awarded for the Concours de' Elegance, Sir Moss came by and signed the hood, prior to the car being auctioned off.

The inevitable rear view........

Nigel - here's the lull. I believe Wilson will most likely forfeit his turn, and there's your chance to stump us all.

Thanks all for taking part.

It was also at Goodwood Revival meeting one year, I forget which. Stirling Moss co-drove my brother's Ferrari 250 GTO (3527GT - the third GTO made and originally owned by Lucien Bianchi) in the TT Trophy race but not I think in the year the Mercedes-McLaren was there . My brother was very proud that he was quicker than Stirling Moss until I reminded him that Stirling was over 80 years old at the time and might have slowed down a bit over the years 😀

Delighted for Nigel to take my turn.

Ok - no access to my files so I just took a couple of shots of interesting cars in my London square...

Looks like a Rolls-Royce Wraith Mansory Coupe

RR Wraith is correct - I’ll have to a closer this morning look to see if there is any Mansory branding. It’s certainly not my favourite looking Wraith!

Well, since make & model seem to be correct, and I see no one else has hazarded a guess, I just assumed I get to post the next puzzle car.......here goes.

It's getting increasingly difficult to come up with cars that are not so well known that any crop is instantly identifiable, and with the almost total lack of much of any aspect of car culture in the state of Idaho, I haven't been able to 'refill' my car photo files. I expect that this one too will soon be called out correctly, but for now it's all I could come up with quickly.

The usual info, please.

The Wraith in question. Not pretty IMHO.

Add the obvious '1' to the Zs and there's your correct answer - a BMW Z1.

I guess the floor is open to anyone who wants to post the next puzzle car.

My sister had a Z1 in that same colour. I ended up with no skin on my knuckles having replaced one of the door raising motors on it. The fibreglass is very ragged on the inside of the door and surrounding bodywork.

IMO it was always a rather attracive car from many 'designer' points of view. I don't know much about their Quality/Performance etc...etc...but that 3/4 frontal view is a pleasing aspect.

The RR Wraith on the other hand? Words fail me. So sad to see a once proud manufacturer produce such eyesores to the exclusion of anything else.

RIP Rolls Royce and, from what I have seen of your output over the last 15 years or so, may it happen sooner rather than later.

Philip.

If you think the Wraith is bad, what about that gargoyle, The Cullinan. I suppose the advantage of owning one is that you are on the inside looking out.
