Here's the last Isetta I saw (at the TWA terminal at JFK, converted into a beautiful hotel), and it's a bit different from Alain's.   Shortly, I'll post the next puzzle car.

The the wire wheels, the leather strap holding down the hood panels and the arrangement of the windshield, and right hand steering all suggest an English car to me.

The door sheet metal draped over the ladderframe main member in turn look to be part of a large, heavy car.

The thing that throws me is the apparent  'bump' in the left-hand hood panel just ahead of the row of louvers. Since this car is obviously decades before the appearance of turbos, I'll theorize it may be equipped with one of the many Roots-type blowers available back in the '30s.

Could we be looking at a Lagonda from the early '30s ?

I might have posted it before.  It is the '36 AM LM, at the excellent Simeone Foundation Museum on the outskirts of Philadelphia.  If one is into cars and near Philadelphia, one must visit it.

OK; I think this is one which hasn't appeared before. I don't require much info and I've no idea how 'factory-spec' this car is - she certainly wasn't up for the concours prize at Pebble Beach - but I believe most features are probably 'authentic' if a bit 'incomplete'...

Standard Eight Circa 1955-60...

Ooohhh! Very well guessed, Indeepthought! You are so very nearly correct that I feel the win is yours.

It isn't the Standard 8 but the only exterior difference between that model and this one is the treatment of the front radiator grille. These two models shared almost all the body panels but whereas the '8' was fitted with an 803cc engine that of the mystery car displaced 948cc.

If you wish to have a second bite at the cherry please feel free to do so but I think it's only fair to award you the 'Win' in any case. Here's a snap of the whole shebang with a view of the front half showing the different grille;
