pippy Posted April 21, 2016 Share #8522 Â Posted April 21, 2016 Wild guess but is it some variant of Pininfarina-bodied Maserati 5000GT? Â Pip.
gmo Posted April 21, 2016 Share #8523  Posted April 21, 2016 Pip,  No too wild because Pininfarina is correct but not a Maserati  Gerd
pippy Posted April 21, 2016 Share #8524 Â Posted April 21, 2016 Can it be a Ferrari? A 330GTC, perhaps? I really hope it's it's not a Superfast because that was the first thing which came to mind... Â The rear pillars seem a little too slim but nothing would surprise me! Â Very pretty whatever! Â Pip.
gmo Posted April 22, 2016 Share #8525 Â Posted April 22, 2016 Pip, Â No Ferrari although I can follow your line of thoughts. This one is of a similar age period - early 1960's. Â So right now we have Italian, not Maserati and not Ferrari, we are getting there. Â Gerd

wlaidlaw Posted April 25, 2016 Share #8528  Posted April 25, 2016 Could it be one of those cars known in the trade as "why so revolting?" (Iso Rivolta). I worked on one around 45 years ago, that a friend had bought in a moment of weakness. It made a Morgan or Lotus look well built. They must have bought a job lot of old cloth covered rubber insulated cable to make the wiring loom. This was not a good idea, as all the rubber was perishing, so whenever it rained, the water soaked through the cloth covering and the electrics stopped working. Luckily we knew an old guy in south London, who used to make our racing car wiring looms and who prior to retirement, had been the Handley Page Aircraft Company senior loom technician. He made and installed a completely new wiring loom for the Iso, which transformed it.  Wilson

gmo Posted April 26, 2016 Share #8537  Posted April 26, 2016 We have had almost all major Italian carmakers but not the one I need, but the designer has already been named. So stil to go brand and model and put the right designer next to that. A further picture to help you. I'll give you a front view because the back will still be difficult.  Welcome, dear visitor! ramarren Posted April 26, 2016 Share #8538  Posted April 26, 2016 Sheesh ... Lamborghini Jarama, designed by Bertone. I've never seen one in the flesh! A very pretty car indeed. The headlight treatment is unique as far as I'm aware.
