John Z. Goriup Posted August 4, 2015 Share #7683 Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) Allow me to take a crack at the next 'puzzle car', but with a slightly different twist. I'll reveal up front that the mystery car is a Ferrari -- all you have to do now is to identify which model of Ferrari we're talking about. Yes, admittedly it's only a tiny portion of the whole image, but rest assured that the fragment contains all the elements necessary for a positive and definitive identification…..in a previous round Stuart guessed that it was an Allard from a similar sized sample on the first attempt………….have at it, Gentlemen. John Z. Goriup Posted August 5, 2015 Share #7691 Posted August 5, 2015 275 GTB/4 NART Spyder ? Gerd Wow ! Here I thought I was being really clever, but this is obviously a knowledgable crowd. Gerd nailed it with his first reply. One of the most iconic Ferraris, conceived by Enzo's US importer, Luigi Chinetti. Only ten were ever produced, and it's quite rare to see one come up for sale nowadays………the most recent one came up for auction at Monterey in 2013 and sold for $ 25 million. They really constitute the crown jewel of any collection. Your turn, Gerd Thanks, JZG Welcome, dear visitor! gmo Posted August 5, 2015 Share #7692 Posted August 5, 2015 It was the hinges of the boot that triggered it for me. Here is the next one: Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted August 10, 2015 Share #7700 Posted August 10, 2015 SC - The black car looks like a Lancia Aurelia from about 1955, but the Farina badge is missing from its flanks. Leonard - Quite recent, probably European.
